A front desk that never closes.
Frontdesk will point the voice agent the other way: instead of asking your questions, it will answer the ones your visitors arrive with, from the material you gave it, in the language they asked in. It is coming soon — none of it is available today, and this page describes what we are building rather than what you can use.
What it is
The same agent, turned around
Everything else on this site is about asking. Frontdesk will be the other direction: the same voice agent, on the same link, answering the questions people arrive with — what the visiting hours are, which papers to bring, whether a scheme applies to someone like them. It will run as another way into the respondent app rather than as a separate product, so a client who already runs studies will not be learning a second system.
Answers will come from your own material
The plan is that a client supplies the notice, the policy or the price list, and the agent answers from that and says so. An agent that improvises an answer about a hospital or a loan is not a smaller version of this — it is a different, unusable thing.
In the language the question was asked in
The same speech stack the conversations already run on, so a question asked in Hindi or Kannada is answered in it rather than met with a form in English.
Every exchange will be recorded as itself
A question nobody scripted is still evidence: what people actually ask, how often, and where the existing notice failed to say it.
What a visitor experiences
A link, a question, an answer — and no queue
The intended journey is deliberately the one the respondent page already proves: open a link on the phone in your hand, agree to be recorded, speak. No app to install, no account to make, nothing to type if typing is hard.
Open at the hours a desk cannot be
The questions that keep a front desk busy do not arrive between nine and five. Frontdesk is meant for the evening, the queue and the second attempt.
Plain answers, not a menu tree
Nobody wants to press four for department enquiries. The intent is that the visitor says what they want in their own words and gets a sentence back.
A way through to a person, always
Every design note on this starts from the same place: the visitor must always be able to reach a human being, and must be told plainly how.
What you get back
The questions your notice does not answer
A front desk absorbs the same twenty questions all day and remembers none of them. The value we are building towards is the record: what was asked, in what language, how often, and which questions the agent had to hand over because your own material did not cover them.
A list of the gaps, ranked by how often they cost someone a trip
The handover cases are the interesting ones. Each is a question your published material could have answered and did not.
How much of the load never needed a person
Counted honestly, including the ones that were handed over, so the number is a measurement rather than a sales figure.
In the same place as everything else
The intention is one dashboard, not a second one: the study results and the questions people asked, read side by side.
What it will not do
The refusals are part of the design, not a disclaimer
Frontdesk is not open yet, and when it does open it will be narrower than the technology allows. These limits are chosen, and they will not be a setting a client can switch off.
It will not diagnose, triage or advise on treatment
It will answer what a hospital has published — hours, departments, papers to bring, how to raise a complaint. Anything about a person’s own condition goes to a clinician.
It will not give legal or financial advice
It will read out what a policy says. It will not tell someone whether to sign, whether they qualify, or what they should do about a dispute.
It will not answer what it was not given
Where the supplied material is silent, the answer will be that it does not know and here is the person who does — never a plausible guess in a confident voice.
It will hand off to a person, and say that it has
A handover is a stated outcome the visitor hears, not a silent dead end at the end of a conversation that went nowhere.
Frontdesk is coming soon and cannot be bought, switched on or piloted today. Nothing on this page describes behaviour that exists yet.
When it opens, the same rules will govern it as govern every conversation on this platform: consent before any recording, a version-stamped receipt, personal details encrypted, and audio deleted on the retention clock. DPDP-aligned, and held in India.
This form is for a study you can run today. Say Frontdesk in the message and we will come back to you when there is something real to show.
